A Two Week Menu, Oh My!

Greetings! The Lunch Fairy here! I'm long overdue for a catch up and so here is the latest from moi! Below is a sample menu for 2 weeks. I will present a new menu each month (with old favorites of course) broken into weeks. Each week will have 5 different soups, salads and sandwiches.The day before you will choose either:1) A sandwich and a soup 2) A sandwich and a salad 3) A soup and a salad.
Then your order will be delivered (along with a sweet treat... because you deserve it! I'm partial to homemade banana, chocolate chip, peanut butter loaf...) the next day at whatever time you like! Same day orders can be processed if they come in before ten am (and there's a last second order charge of $2 cuz I have to get up the cleaning elves and they get grumpy).

Monday, October 19th to Friday October 23 is the third week of the month, so scroll down to week 3 menus to make your selections!

Week Three Sandwiches:
CURRIED MANGO CHICKEN WRAP- chicken, mango, almonds in a curry mayo
AHI TUNA- grilled Ahi tuna, avacado, in wasabi vinaigrette
GRILLED THREE CHEESE- cheddar, fontina, brie
ITALIAN TORPEDO- deli salami, proscuitto, provolone, vegetable spread
ROAST BEEF- roast beef, horseradish mayo, butter lettuce

Week Four Sandwiches:
ROAST TURKEY- roast turkey with mayo, butter lettuce, tomato
COOLER PRESSED- marinated bocconcini, red pepper
PB & J- homemade peanut butter and strawberry jam
CHEESESTEAK- grilled flank steak, red peppers, swiss cheese
EGG SALAD- medium-boiled eggs, green onion

Week Three Salads:
BEET- roasted beets, walnuts, goat cheese, arugula
PASTA- fusili tossed with carrots, peppers, olives
SPINACH & STRAWBERRY- strawberries and goat cheese on a bed of spinach
BROCCOLI- cold steamed broccoli, slivered almonds, bacon, red onion and peas
CORN- kernels of fresh corn, red peppers, cotija cheese

Week Four Salads:
HEARTS OF PALM- marinated hearts of palm, garlic, parmesan cheese
TABOULI- couscous, parsley, cucumber, green onion
POTATO- new potatoes, celery, green pepper,mayo
CUCUMBER- cucumbers marinated in rice vinegar, sesame oil
COLESLAW- shredded cabbage, carrots, mayo dressing

Week Three Soups:
ITALIAN WEDDING- a light vegetable soup with Italian turkey meatballs
CHICKEN TORTILLA- tender chicken, tortilla strips in chicken broth
TOMATO- roasted tomatoes pureed till smooth, a touch of cream
YELLOW BEET- yellow beets, carrots, onion; a twist on a classic
LENTIL- hearty lentils in a rich broth

Week Four Soups:
BEEF BARLEY- cubes of beef, barley, carrots in beef broth
WANTON- handmade wontons in chicken brith
GASPACHO- cold tomato vegetable soup PEA- steamed peas pureed to a thick soup
POTATO & BACON- a creamy broth of potatoes and bacon
